Born in Wakefield in 1976 Frances Priest began her training in 1994 on a foundation course at Dewsbury College. Under the tuition of David Roberts a fascination for clay quickly developed, leading to further studies in the ceramic department of Edinburgh College of Art from 1995 to 1999 gaining a BA Hon. and Pgdip.
